Q#1: WHAT IS BEAUTIFILL™?
BeautiFill™ by Alma is a revolutionary laser-based body contouring system that combines liposuction, skin tightening, and fat grafting into a single treatment.
The technology uses a proprietary laser system that loosens and extracts live fat cells from common problem areas such as hips, flanks, abdomen, and thighs. Then, the system harvests these fat cells so they can be re-injected into other places where you’ve lost volume and definition, such as cheeks, breasts, and buttocks.

Q#2: IS BEAUTIFILL™ SAFE?
Yes, BeautiFill™ is a very safe procedure. The procedure doesn’t require general anesthesia, and you’re only using your fat cells, which minimizes any risk of rejection.
The procedure safely loosens fat cells and then extracts them into a sterile system; here, the fat is purified before it’s re-injected into the desired area.

Q#5: HOW IS BEAUTIFILL™ PERFORMED?
Your BeautiFill™ treatment is a simple in-office procedure involving the following steps:
- The doctor will inject a mix of lidocaine, epinephrine, and saline solution across the treatment area.
The lidocaine anesthetizes the area, so you don’t feel any pain; the epinephrine constricts the blood vessels and the fat cells, so there is less bleeding, and the fat cells are easier to remove. In addition, the saline solution aids the swelling of the skin.
- Dr. Elahi will then insert the cannula to deliver the laser energy and gently loosen the fat cells in the area. In addition to facilitating the harvest of fat cells, the laser energy used during your BeautiFill™ treatment cauterizes blood vessels which helps reduce bleeding and bruising.
- The cannula harvests the fat cells and immediately filters and safely stores them in the BeautiFill™system.
